Gym Exercises

I have joined Enigma Fitness Centre, Sector - 10, Dwarka for being more regular in my workouts. The idea was mooted by my family. They were probably inspired by my regularity in jogging and suggested that I join Enigma Fitness Centre.
There are advantages in being trained in gym. The challenges to a body can be increased. The resistance in ellipticals or the incline in treadmill can be increased. Whereas increasing speed in jogging or finding a hilly area on own is not feasible.
One does not realise the importance of trainer. Even today I do not know whether it is important or not. The trainer knows it better. It is relaxing to know that you are under a trainer. Mr. Praveen is my trainer at Enigma Fitness Center.
I have joined the gym for three months. I wish to improve my stamina.
A dog near the stairs for entering Enigma Fitness Center is an obstacle. He barks on seeing me. I then took a longer route to approach the stairs. The dog was unaware of my smart entry. I hope to make him friendly in a few days time as there will be more light at 5:30 am.

  3. I was tempted by big muscles.
But I am sticking to Complan. Planned food with caesin protein. I have it twice.
I had chana dal sundal today morning and I feel it is good. Maybe not in making muscles big; but effective in repairing tissues.
    This is what I feel.

  5. I did not take protein for first 25 days of workout.
Protein is essential. You will begin to feel.
I now take 0.55g of protein per lb of weight.
I shall continue this way for a few more weeks.
Remember, you have to take soya or milk if you are a vegetarian. These have good proteins.

I mix Nusebee soy powder milk with Complan and this I have twice a day.
    I get carbs from jam bread(evening); roti(afternoon); rice(night).
It is discipline that matters in food for bodybuilding.

  7. Bodybuilding.com instructs exhale when lifting weights and inhale when lowering weights. 1 point to them.
I suggest 1 m per second speed for first rep. 1.5 m per second speed for second rep. 1 m per second speed for third and 1.5 m per second for fourth and so on. 1 point to me.

  8. I plan to use only machines for weight training. Geometric arc of machine weights for me.
I can never dream of using barbells. That section was always closed for me.
I strongly recommend barbell maniacs to avoid machine weight training.

  13. Meat has proteins which can supply all the essential amino acids muscles need.
    Milk too.
    So does soya products.
Dal has proteins which supplies only some amino acids that muscles need.
Glutamine is one such amino acid which muscles need. One can take Glutamine directly too as supplement.
Creatine is a supplement which helps give energy to muscles directly.
Glutamine, creatine may be taken. It is your own sole satisfaction. Many oldies like me would feel these should be made by the body and not directly fed.

  14. I plan to take Creatine. It will improve intensity of weight training and nutrients and energy shall be delivered to muscles better.
I do not plan to take Glutamine. I feel soya suits me well. I trust my body to make amino acids (glutamine included) from soya efficiently.

  15. On second thoughts, I will not take Creatine.
    Workout till your body permits.
