Does vegans have problems with proteins?
Yes. They are disadvantaged when it comes to need for proteins for increasing size and bulk of muscle tissue. However my feeling is maintaining the same muscle size should not be a problem.
Is this a learned knowledge or a realized knowledge?
Realized by my body and me.
But vegans can consume 5 to 6 or more servings of whey and get protein needs. Can't they?
Yes. But whey is an animal products. So is eggs and fish. Some vegans consume eggs, fish etc. But they are not truly vegans. Moreover morality comes into play when we talk of whey. Because it is a milk products.
What morality?
Everyone consume 2-4 cups of tea. And curd. And paneer possibly. So this is the morality level. Two scoops of whey.
Will it not affect bodybuilding? With lesser proteins of 1 gm per kilogram instead of 1 gm per pound?
No. Athletics bodybuilding is possible.
How do you say?
Results.
What results?
I have improved on timing and duration of jogging. That's why.
Ok.

Which bodybuilding plan is the best to practice?
ReplyDeleteIt is best not to give advice. But over the years I have realized a few lessons. So I will give my suggestion.
Jim Stoppani plan is possibly the best plan for an average Indian mindset. Jim Stoppani himself states the plan to be a shortcut to size.
Otherwise, if you want to be ritualistic and do not want any shortcuts, then Jay Cutler plan, Kris Gethin plan or Lee Labrada plan should be ideal.
Refer to www.bodybuilding.com for more details.
Many people say I want to only burn fat. Not build muscles.
ReplyDeleteMy response is go ahead, then.
Then they say, I cannot run for more than 20 minutes.
Then I say, that is the reason why you need to build muscles too.
Can't fasting or regulated eating help reduce body fat?
ReplyDeleteMy mindset is clear. If you are into bodybuilding techniques do as per bodybuilding plans.
Yoga may also help. But it might be difficult to follow in today's lifestyle. Today physical body is what is attractive. People who have strong body and six pack abs get ahead and keep going ahead. So it all depends.
My personal feeling is two hours daily is needed for Yoga. 1 hour yoga and 1 hour pranayama. This is needed to beat the pressures of daily life.
ReplyDeleteBut it is likely to be cost effective and very Indian.
I have many things to do. So bodybuilding is ideal for me.
Why not yoga and pranayama?
ReplyDeleteI had 23% body fat. I was regular in bullworker during teens. We also had dumbbells. I am creative and to suppress thinking with pranayama will be wrong.
Its difficult for veg people but not impossible.
ReplyDeleteMy honest opinion is it is practically impossible. To be an Arnold Schwarzenegger. But an Usain Bolt should be possible.
ReplyDeleteAnyway , it is difficult to create fear with a big body and hence protect a girl. But a fast running man can chase a man eloping with a girl and outrun him.
One can start eating non veg to get protein. It is not so much an impossible social step in modern times.
ReplyDeleteMy plan is to first bring my fat percentage to 10%. Probably by November end.
ReplyDeleteThen I will improve agility. Burpees, pull ups, push ups with their variants.
What I did today?
ReplyDelete3 sets of complete dumbbells done quickly. 22 minutes. 20 minutes of speed jogging almost running.
Is it morally correct to do Burpees? Which seems to be a foreign patent?
ReplyDeleteIt might be. But I appreciate it with full heart.
What I did today?
ReplyDelete3 sets of complete dumbbells done quickly with 10 kg pair dumbbells. Later I did massaging with massage oil in the bathroom.
One equipment I want to buy is Viva VX - 3500.
ReplyDeleteOne technique that I like the most is Jim Stoppani's 12 week Shortcut to Size program. It is simple. And Jim promises results. What more does one need ?
One set at more weight. Say 12.5 kg. Reps till you can manage. The next set at say 7.5 kg. Reps till you can manage. This is for one week. One microcycle.
Next week first set at 15 kg. Reps till you can manage. The next set at say 10. Reps till you can manage. This is for the second week. The second microcycle.
And so on . . .
At the end of 12 weeks you have bigger muscles. How about it?
Viva VX - 3500 because it has chest flyes option. And leg curls and leg extensions option. This observation is from my experience.
ReplyDeleteViva VX - 3500 will need 6 feet by 6 feet space I think. So cannot buy because of space constraint. And cable pull for back is not available in this machine.
ReplyDeleteJim Stoppani's Shortcut to Shred is about cardio workout between sets. It is also about increasing weights every odd week. While lesser weights are advised in even weeks.
ReplyDeleteSix weeks and then goodbye to fat. Most important point is cardio between sets.
What I did today?
ReplyDelete4 sets of quick and complete dumbbells workouts with 10kg dumbbells pairs.
Is it effective for fat loss?
It is.
Do you recommend this workout?
Very definitely.
What's the next level?
With 12.5 kg pair dumbbells.
And the next level? 15kg pair?
No. I plan to buy 4 feet barbell and weights.
What I didn't do today?
ReplyDeleteExercise.
What I did today?
ReplyDelete4 sets of complete and rapid dumbbells. 30 to 35 minutes.
Instead of Viva VX 3500, one must consider bench with leg extension. This is likely to occupy 3 feet x 6 feet space.
ReplyDeleteOne can do dumbbells flyes for the second chest exercise then.
