If you had ordered,
I would have followed, most obediently.
If you had wished,
I would have tried, with full faith.
If you had desired,
I would have turned, for your desires are my wish.

But you want acceptance,
I did not know that.
But you want freedom,
I did not know that.
But you want sincerity,
I did not know that.
