The 12% Law

Rajeev Kumar communicates very good. He wants to communicate in an excellent way.
Rishabh Chaudhury organizes very good. He wants to organize in an excellent way.
Sunil Damodaran manages very good. He wants to manage in an excellent way.
Life is like that. Many very goods get a score of 90% in their activities. But they want to increase their score to 95%. It is not easy to improve further.
What is the solution?
I am providing a solution which may work and make it possible the journey from 90% to 95%.
I call it the 12% hesitancy (whether a dot is a circle or a square inspiration based). The theory is
If you are happy be in a circle and lead your life with 90%. Or make a jump and try to be harmonious with 95%. My point is, that which is 12% difficult is what can give you success in this attempt. Trying a thing too difficult may result in failure.
Rajeev Kumar is 12% hesitant to communicate with enemies. He needs to improve this.
Rishabh Chaudhury is 12% hesitant to organize things with tough financiers. He needs to improve this.
Sunil Damodaran is 12% hesitant in managing women colleagues. He needs to improve this.
So the point is, identify areas which requires 12% pep-up and attack that area. Not more.
This is based on geometry and equality and number theories.

It's a Rhombus

1. It is the rhombus which gives a Pythagoras sort of equation. It makes a rectangle when the corners are made to meet at the center.
2. Rhombus is obtained by swaying a square on one side. Square is obtained by swaying a rhombus on one side suitably.
3. Because rectangle and square area are based on sides, it can be interpreted that attraction towards center is what causes sides of 90 degrees.
4. A square can be made into a rhombus by pushing or pulling either the bottom or the top side. One of these. Not both.
5. A rhombus can be made into a square by pushing either the bottom or the top side. One of these. Not both. And also only when suitably done.

Heart, Brain, Pi water and the Body

I believe our brains work like optical fibers. Also they are affected by heart beats.
Normally when you daydream or have deep interest in subjects like music, philosophy or art your heart gets affected. It drives the brain. Then brain reacts to this deep interest. Pi water reflects this reaction of brain and changes the body. Body understands and then a feedback loop type of chain is formed.
At certain times light affects heart and magnetism in blood splits the light. Like Zeeman effect. In this case the brain becomes very highly reactive due to this heart driven split. Pi water too reacts very highly. Body then spins and hands may be hyper-active. During this stage of brain activity, Pi water reaction and body form an unbeatable loop causing "discoveries".

The Absolute Statements

I have made some absolute statements with regard to constants, over time :-
1. There is nothing simpler than a Fibonacci number.
2. Pi can be only be determined as 22/7. Further analysis needs external help.
3. The constant e needs explanation of anti e.
4.Pythagoras is actually reaching towards zero. The attraction like gravity.
Your comments are most welcome.

The Spin and i (the complex number)

There are a few observations with respect to the spin. One is the existence of a negative which is i squared.
My equation for complex number explanation is

x + 1/2x = 180 degrees.

i.e Action plus your perceived reaction (which is half of action. Your perception is only half. Not the full) i.e x + 1/2x equals what? The total system i.e positive and negative. Which is nothing but 180 degrees.

i.e 3/2x = 180 degrees. Or x = 120 degrees.

The explanation of a complex number leads to 1/3 rd concept. 120 degrees.

But is not an angle lesser than 120 degrees, say 2 degrees etc. true? They are true in physical existence. Mentally however positive and negative are the truths. i.e 180 degrees.

Knowledge

The first question. What is knowledge or gyana?
Knowledge is nothing but adjustment to the feedback obtained. People confuse knowledge with thinking. Thinking can be said, is for survival. It will be appropriate to think, that, if you think you can survive better with thinking; then, go ahead. Be a thinker. After all one wants to survive in this world. And thinking helps.
Not knowing the above is agyana or ignorance.
Can a person think that he has knowledge? It depends on your hearing of your own speech. There are bones and internal mouth involved in how you hear your own voice. I thought my voice is like SPB but it is somewhat like Manhar as I discovered in digital technology. So one may say that I should not have thought that I have knowledge. Because, the popular perception is SPB is better than Manhar.
What do you think ?

Self Guidance Towards Practical Achievement

It is easy to imagine that you are Carl Lewis(world ranking athlete) or R K Laxman (famous Indian Cartoonist) or Chandrasekhar Subrahmanyam (Indian Nobel Prize Winner). But when it comes to reality you may be far behind them in terms of achievement. But then, that is how our thinking is. One is not able to think otherwise and a man is in chains and can think only in this narrow way.
How much correct am I in writing Carl Lewis first, R K Laxman second and C Subrahmanyam third? To me, I am 100 % correct that Carl Lewis comes to my mind first. My feeling of my body is thus. But in reality I can never do a 100 m dash within 12 seconds or so.
The result of such thinking is that frustrations can creep in easily. One will be disappointed most of the time.
This blog post is about the difference in thinking and reality achievement. And how we can achieve targets attained by experts. Is there an alternative thinking? Or maybe some goal like 100 m in 20 seconds which gives same satisfaction as a Carl Lewis run?
The aim here is to attain peace and I am planning to note down points as and when something significant creeps up.

India and Indians - A Complete Solution

Figure 1

Figure 2
We, Indians have a tendency to consider certain things positive. And certain things negative. As an example, education is considered positive while white collar jobs is considered negative.
When we  say Education (Positive Harmony) we may say books is Positive Factor 1 and intelligence is Positive Factor 2. Together books and intelligence causes positive harmony.
Take the case of white collar jobs. We may say Gossip is Negative Factor 1 and Politics is Negative Factor 2. Together gossip and playing politics causes negative harmony.
In a circle there is positive and negative. Also I have considered this to be one aspect of thought and therefore one circle(Figure 1).
This might result in two parallel lines at the centre. Whether two parallel lines or one line? We tend to treat things positive and negative and therefore from our thoughts the line has two distinct sides. Hence parallel line is appropriate. Is this how the equal to symbol originated? I wonder.
The problem with this approach of thinking is we may tend to become lonely. We may be at the center with things happening all around.
What is the solution?
Our brain has two sides imaginative side and precise side.
If we manage one aspect say education with full imagination and white collar job with precision ; we would have dealt with our considered education energy and white collar energy effectively (Figure 2). Because we are humans and we can only think this way.
And this is precisely the way I lead my life. I try to be precise on matters I consider positive. I use imagination and allow myself to go on things i consider negative.

I am attaching images of worksheet which will help you in self development using my principles.
For your benefit you can convert this image files to pdf. And then take a printout of this pdf. Take time to fill up this worksheet. It will only benefit you.

Getting Rid of Latency

Latent heat is a very important concept. In water, 0 degrees centigrade is the latent heat of melting. 100 degrees centigrade is the latent heat of vaporisation. At 0 degree centigrade solid ice becomes liquid water. Temperature remains 0 degree centigrade for some time till solid ice becomes liquid water completely. After that temperature raises with time.
Humans too have latency. Some exhibit latency in studying while some in working. Humans do not become liquid or vapour on getting energy. Humans use this energy in brain activities or muscular activities. Rice eaters generally exhibit less latency. Rice is starch and gets used by body more easily. Wheat eaters exhibit more latency. But human body is a wonder. It adjusts so well, for possibly survival, that it adjusts suitably to the food we eat.
Motivation is the key to a human being. Inspiration often drives the motivation and makes a man excel in his field. But inspiration is being tied to faith. This faith could be faith in your abilities, support from parents or friends or God or anything. So having faith is the key.
So assuming faith is the most important thing; should one try to cling to faith like solid ice and refuse to become liquid water when heat like situation happens? No. In fact the opposite should be done. One should have faith and understand that both solid ice and liquid water are H2O and should allow conversion in state. This is likely to improve a person trying to get rid of latency.
So, believe in yourself. Have faith in your abilities. Accept the changes happening. React and act to these situations by maintaining faith in yourself. Gradually, you will get rid of latency and lead a more dynamic life.

Staying in circle

The earlier style of governments at the centre revolved around personalities. The men in power were assumed supreme status and those who were in their loop succeeded. And those who did not manage to get their patronage remained insignificant. Moreover, people not in their coterie, had difficult time trying to please and get rid of differences in opinions. Many times, it would be maddening for these people.
Now that a new government is there, a new way of work is expected. The not so lucky should not feel deprived of mental viewpoints differences. The talented should get opportunities to succeed. After all, people have clearly rejected old way of working in the just concluded elections.
Dale Carnegie, the foremost expert in relationships, has said that there is only one way to build a relationship. Satisfying the other person. But in USA, win-win works. In India it may not. It is usually win-loose relationship.
So therefore to get into relationship or to get a job done, here in India, one must be ready to loose. To gain one thing, loose something else ( maybe more precious ). But one must face it boldly. Having faith in oneself and staying away from things that weaken your strong areas helps.
Here is the diagram, I suggest you follow to maintain harmony in you and also in others. The aim is to keep your circle going. The situation you face, should not make the object get out of the circle tangentially and cause damage.
If the circle is stable; and your minimum objective is met; and the other person is happy; then fine. Go all out and get the job done. Or go ahead in the relationship.

Make it a habit

There is a problem with success. You have to keep succeeding.
There are many talent out there in the real world. But there are stories associated with them. Stories that they were dejected. Or poor. Or unhappy.
If your talent does not manifest into a habit then you will end up into a tragic story. You may argue that you will go to heaven for all the talent you possess. But people who successfully make a habit of their talent will cause so much jealousy that your present life in earth will be a hell.
You can make habits. It should not be difficult. It requires discipline. It requires practise.

The above chart helps in make one understand habit formation. If the circle is balanced and if you decide to apply your soul then you will be able to make a habit.

Reality Views

One of the most interesting concept of life is there is nothing absolute. Most of the things are perceived relatively favourable or relatively unfavourable.
What can be considered as being a reality view? I can explain it. This is supported by my favourite theory of statistical kinks.
What is a kink?

If you look at the graph, the x axis is Rs.10 for 1 cm. But there is a kink at the start. 0 to 50.5 has been represented in 1 cm. Then afterwards it is Rs.10 for 1 cm.
In reality a box may be just 2 metres away from you in the table.  But to reach it requires moving your feet, see to it that your hands are clean, be convinced that you need it etc.  These are the kinks that come to my mind.
By the way, kink in slang means sexual taste of a person.

My Driving Force

People have many driving forces. For many men women. For some hypocrisy in the name of religion.

My driving force is the angular swing of the shadow of a lamppost due to linear motion of car and its headlights. It is amazing that a linear movement can make an angular effect.

This driving force is so strong, that I will not change my religion. You can give me millions of dollars but I will take it on only one condition. I will stick to this driving force of mine.

The above is the logo of my company. This image drives me crazy !!!

The Grandfather of Self Help - Creating Action

Many claim that self help boosts self confidence, but may not fetch results.
Now these critics have to eat their words. For now here I am revealing one of the biggest secrets. The secret to action. It is such a big revelation that I fear the repercussions that may happen. If it were a matter of a few briefcases of cash, I wouldn't have bothered much. But it is pulling the trigger of a gun. Heavens will shake and hells may break loose. Such is the power of this secret. A secret that has never been told. A secret whose time has come. A secret which needs to be told. To be told without the temptation of earning money.
But I do not want to go to hell. There is fear of punishment. For revealing this secret may change the mind of God himself.  Are you strong enough to take in this knowledge? Are you prepared to accept the challenge of a lifetime? By saying yes to getting to know this secret.

Common Sense

Hello, World. What is common sense?
You are correct as usual Mr. Spock. It is the knowledge of 50-50.
Common Sense, the most uncommon thing in the world, is nothing but the knowing that a thing or an event is 50% favourable and 50% unfavourable. It might be an English thought, but England has laid the foundation in almost all the country of the world.
Which is the midpoint is a matter which is local in perspective. A banana peel which may make a man fall or which may not is as seen by someone. It is at the most a personal observation and personal reference drawn by the person. The mid point here is to fall due to banana peel. To another person the midpoint may be uncleanliness in the city.
Finding a mid-point to a lot of common situations is a challenging exercise. To a Delhi walla stopping a car in the middle of a road is OK. The middlepoint to him in this situation is the scratch on his car and whether to deal with the other guy with his fists or not.
What do you think is the middle point to some of the common situations that happen in our city?

Finish the work in hand (FIFO)

Suppose you have two buckets to take and fill in the washing machine. How do you do it?
There are two approaches.
Step 1
Take both the buckets. Walk carefully till the washing machine.  Empty both the buckets. And then bring back the empty buckets.
Step 2
Take one bucket. Take it to the washing machine. Fill it up. Bring it back. Now take the second bucket. Take it to the washing machine. Empty the bucket. And bring it back.
The step 1 develops physical strength. The second one develops mental strength.
If you say you cannot empty both the buckets at the same time, then you are using intelligence. You are succumbing to FIFO pressure. FIFO is First In First Out. What is your take? Strength or Intelligence?

Love and Passion - Two powerful words

Love is a powerful word and all religions talk about it. We are living in present but our past affects us by reappearing in memory. We are not able to give our best in the present due to this. And so our future is not good. This is the story which happens to us at all instant. Only God can help to get rid of this problem because some past activities may be really bad. Love is God's word and one must love one's past to do better now and ensure a good future.
When we talk of work, we must work with passion. Passion is about yourself. What is it that you like. Not what others want you to do. You maybe an engineer but gardening is what you have passion for.  When we work passionately the results satisfy us. We are happy with ourselves because we do what we want.
Love and Passion. God and you. Both are for a happy you. Because you deserve the best.

So you want to be happy ?

So, you want to be happy ? What? All of you ? I don't want to be happy. Surprised? Yes, maybe.
There are two meanings to the above set of statements. One is a cynical way of looking at things. Demeaning others, maybe. The other is choosing your emotions. Happy or surprised.
My intention was to present the sentences in a difficult logical way.
Most of us want to be happy. Happy that we drink a can of beer. Happy that we get tandoori paranthas around the corner. Happy that we get fruit drinks to quench our thirst. Happy that all men are uniform.
But look at the problems with being happy. My kids are happy. So what if road is filled with begging children?
I turn aside when I see a rowdy eve-teasing a girl. I want to be happy! Why get involved in a mess?
But if you decide to be surprised. Then you will be on your foot. You foresee problems and find solutions. You become brave.
So, surprised is my preferred emotion. What is yours?

Developing Leadership

Leaders are a rare commodity these days. We see people with narrow vision, inability to energize people and poor communication skills. Vision, energizing people and good communication are the hallmark of a great leader.
Leadership is a must in today's connected world. It is a flat world.
I was interested to know what a flat world is. I browsed the Internet for the meaning flat world. I could not visualize the meaning of what Internet said is a flat world. Then I tried to discover the meaning myself. I asked myself What is a round world? I told myself round means continuity. You give and you get back. And it continues. Then I told myself that a Flat world is where there is discontinuity. You give. The End.
The software programs Twitter stresses on leader-follower thing. So this social networking says it all. How is today's world?
Just teaching theoretical stuff on leadership development is not good enough. You need to have drills and exercises continued for many days which should force leadership into you. Everything can be developed. Even leadership can be.
What sort of exercises can develop leadership skills? Or do you believe it is an inborn trait?

Krishna Janmashtmi - Message on Action and no focus on results

Yesterday was Krishna Janmashtmi. Krishna's birth anniversary. Krishna is a beloved God of Hindus and is widely regarded and respected. His upadesha of Gita to Arjuna is a very practical advice. To all his devotees it is instruction from Krishna as to how action should be performed.

In our daily talk we talk of percentages. 30% of work has been completed. My son has scored 85%. The neta is demanding 10% commission. And more . . .

What is 100 %? 100% is the result, the objective, what you aim for, what is correct . . .

When we speak in % terms, are we not speaking, looking at results expected? Yes we are. Speaking in percent basis is speaking and concentrating on results. Especially speaking in percent of a future thing is speaking in terms of results.

So talking in percent terms of a job to be done in future, of a assignment to be completed, of a deal to be undertaken are all focussing on results .
