Movies watched recently

I saw the following movies :-
1. Sadgati
2. Mahanadi
3. Nizhalkuthu
No. I don't agree with Satyajit Ray. I doubt anyone or a Brahmin can be this cruel. Or a hungry laborer so bovine. I can accept the laborer not asking for food.( Read the story in youtube just now. Sadgati by Munshi Premchand. I am being unnecessarilly critical of Shri Satyajit Ray. He made as per the story only. My apologies !!)(But there are extra additions. The Brahmin's advice on remarriage is not there in original story.)
Mahanadi is a Kamalhaasan starrer movie which compels the viewer to stark realities. I wished girls were older to understand. I watched this movie for Kamalhaasan.
Nizhalkuthu was a fine movie. Full marks to Adoor Gopalakrishnan.

Lifting Okras with left hand

My left hand is relatively neutral.
You may recall that I have done two body experiments earlier. If not, you need to search for them in my blogs.
This is the third experiment. Lifting Okras with left hand.
The results are :-
Thumb and pointing finger - 1 okra lifted
Thumb and pointing finger and middle finger - 2 Okras lifted
Thumb and pointing finger and middle finger and ring finger - 6 Okras lifted
The whole left hand - 20 Okras lifted
Recall 1!,2!,3!,4!
4! did not come. Not 24 but 20 is the result.
But the experiment opened my eyes to Taylor series once again.

A Straight Road Ahead

I am not going to break my head on complex analysis, complex functions, elliptic functions and other such functions which create pain and is likely to give frustrations.
Instead I plan to focus on Arithmetic Geometric Mean (agm).  Studies on agm was done by Lagrange ( admired deeply by Stephen Hawking) and Carl Gauss.
I believe studies in agm is sufficient and super-imposes complex analysis, complex functions and elliptic functions.(citation needed)
Now i (complex number) is a great invention. But 0 to 1 journey is itself tough. There is theta function. But people want to delve deeper.
They go about 0, 1,i in their minds.
My plan is :-
1. 1 into 1/1, 2 into 1/2, 3 into 1/3 . . . and so on.
2. agm.

I also wish to state this.
I have published a paper only when Left hand side expression equals the Right hand side expression. In the rational number series too the ceiling(LHS)=ceiling(RHS) or the floor(LHS)=floor(RHS). All the 4 papers LHS equals RHS. In future also I shall apply for publishing when LHS equals RHS. Or the ceiling. Or the floor. That is a promise and showing respect to Ramanujan. And the efforts Ramanujan took. And the willingness to go to any heights for expressions. Ramanujan is certainly not a journal of mathematics. He was quite more.

Movies that I watched

I saw three movies recently.
Rahasya
Ijaazat
Mithilukal.
I wanted to see Elippathayam too but I was not able to get an English subtitled version on youtube.
Earlier about 6 months back I saw Anantaram.
Adoor Gopalakrishnan movies are just too good. Fantastic quality.
Anantaram is about the life of an orphan raised as own son. When looked at one way the orphan's life is empathised with. When looked the other way the family is empathised.
Mithilukal is the story of a revolutionary writer during British raj. He is jailed. What is freedom ? The writer is friendly and good and fine man. I seem to get an impression that he would be happy with a jailed life.
Ijaazat is fine movie. Gulzar. About relationships. Marriage. Love. Practicality. Songs were of the highest quality. Lyrics genius level.
Rahasya is a murder mystery. Kay kay menon in lead solves a difficult murder mystery.

Comparison of Talwar with Rahasya is like comparing LeT with CBI. It is meaningless.

Satyajit Ray or Adoor Gopalakrishnan or Shyam Benegal?
Satyajit Ray is rejected. Can't believe so much obsession with chess during war by nawabs. And the dancing Amjad Khan. Or the stupid nawab who fails to fathom his wife's affair.
Adoor Gopalakrishnan or Shyam Benegal?
Shyam Benegal is my answer.
