ELO rating around 2000

 

My elo rating is around 2000. This means I have expert ability in chess.

I haven't purchased the app Chess Strategy (1800-2400). Because this is not useful for now.

I am loosing interest in artwork.  Cartoons jokes are not arising inside me.  Portraits and caricatures are tough because making fun of bollywood stars is costly.  

I plan to teach myself Indian Mathematics Olympiad and try to make blog posts on Mathematics questions.  School children are likely to benefit from this step. 8th to 10th class students. 

Modiji mother passed away.  Modiji had so much respect for his mother. Modiji now neither has a wife or his mother.  He probably is thinking of going to Gujarat Vridhashram. But he is very much needed. 

Indian fate is better. Bad times are around us. Neighbors like Russia and China are responsible for Indian security.  Instead of Bharat Jodo I wish Rahul Gandhi focus on Himalayan problems. Iron ore, coal what not our Himalayas have come up with.  And guys just eating this costly resources. I mean it is better private guys like Tata Jindal Aggarwal Mittal manage than PSU.

What is your take? Mine is elo 2000 decision. There are 2400 guys in the least.

Chess Strategy (1800 - 2400)

 

The above app is very exciting and suitable to me. However,  I doubt whether I shall play with another person. I think I shall play only with app. Because of this I think whether this app is needed or not.  Therefore I have not yet purchased it.

I am only showing the features of Chess King app  Chess Strategy (1800 - 2400) in the above picture. 

Chennai has many clubs and guys are excited about chess. If I get posted there I will then buy this app as I can play chess with real people.

Sigh of relief

Internet community is okay with my earlier blog post and my own method of thinking on 1 by triangular numbers is appreciated (sigh of relief !!). I would like to show my progress in two chess king chess app. End games and mate in 3-4. 

Mate in 3-4 has success of 74 percent.  End games has success of 68 percent. 

Okay to me

You look at the thumb. Your eye "naturally" sways to the pointing finger. And the man trained over the years by "favorable field of thoughts" says 1 and 2.

Consecutive numbers are obvious. n(n+1) sorts. Triangular numbers. 

But you are a man. You are "bound" to compare. You feel thumb is different. Or pointing finger is larger. Or thumb is smaller. Or thumb is in different direction.  Or any such thoughts. 

So nature approves 1 by n(n+1). 1 by Triangular numbers. An added dimension.  Just as an added dimension to thoughts.

It is appropriate mathematics to me.  Perhaps not to an English professor. 

It is tough for me to think otherwise than this angle. Moreover my thoughts are golden ratio approved.

I wish to put forward my thoughts in as much clarity as possible.  So that a better picture is given to the internet of pentagon. 

May peace of mind prevail. May Allah show his mercy on his bandhe.

Mathematicians on mathematicians

My personal view is that such one-on-one match-ups between this mathematician and that mathematician (or this composer and that composer, or this ballerina and that ballerina) are almost entirely pointless. There is very little to be gained from arguing who was the greatest, who was more powerful, who was better, and who had the higher IQ.

Asking if person X is "overrated" is even worse, since it depends on our gauging just how "highly rated" person X is, and then arguing whether this is in line with the "proper rating" we should ascribe to this person's "greatness". I find little value in such discussions.

Ramanujan was a rare genius of a very special kind. He made discoveries that were apparently unattainable for pretty much any other human being during his short life. Those contributions were deep and meaningful for mathematics for generations to come. There is a great deal to be learned today from studying his discoveries and marveling at his thought processes and originality. That is a discussion I'd be happy to participate in.

But was he "greater" than Gauss or Euler? I can't make sense of the question. He was born 110 years after Gauss and 180 years after Euler. Obviously the extant knowledge during their lifetimes and the things that still remained to be discovered and invented were completely different. Ramanujan's tastes and approach were completely different from those of Gauss and (to a lesser degree perhaps) Euler. Should we compare his achievements to theirs, or should we compare his achievements to what he might have achieved if he were born in the 18th century, or perhaps we should transplant Euler to the early 20th century and speculate on whether or not he would have discovered mock theta functions?

Of course in many ways Euler's work is more fundamental, but this obviously should at least in part be ascribed to the fact that he had an almost 200 year head-start, and at least in part to the fact that he lived a much longer life. Past the age of 13, Ramanujan has 20 years to create; Euler had 63 (and he made amazingly good use of each and every one of them).

(It's interesting to note, in passing, that both men did much of their work in a country far away from their birthplace; but the circumstances were so different! Euler was flourishing in the court of a Russian empress, while Ramanujan was struggling to build a life in an alien, cold England).

I don't think Ramanujan is overrated. He was a brilliant, creative and unique mathematician and person. I don't think anyone claims he was "greater" than Euler or Gauss, and if anyone does, that's just a senseless claim, not one worth judging right or wrong.

National Mathematics Day

Today is December 22. Birth Anniversary of Srinivasa Ramanujan.  And National Mathematics Day.

Ramanujan was highly intuitive and keen on learning Mathematics.  He developed many expressions and theories.  He wrote a letter to Professor Hardy on his findings.  Professor Hardy was so kind and offered admission in Cambridge University to Ramanujan.  Hardy, Littlewood and Ramanujan did a lot of work and came up with historically significant research materials.  Later Ramanujan came back to India as he was unwell and could not continue in Cambridge.  He died a year later in India.  

On his birth anniversary I wish I get a chance to study Mathematics of golden ratio just as Ramanujan got a chance.

Comic book making

I have mental plans to start a comic book. I want to convey mathematical correct behavior to people in general through comics.

Currently I draw one or two frames. I want to develop into comic book artists. 

In this regard I joined Udemy courses for comic book making.  As I am a Udemy student I got good discount. I had to pay only 499 rupees instead of 2299 rupees.

Mate in 3-4 app

I play chess in mobile and computer only. 

The end game app of Chess King is very useful.  But the lessons were exhaustive and too many. 

I decided to buy another app of Chess King.  Mate in 3-4. This app will help me in mating the chess app in a better way.

You can see that my success is 65 percent. In end games too my success is slightly more than 65 percent. 

One has to accept these values.  And move ahead. One can think I am not shy or I am good in dancing or I cook well and get satisfaction.  

Guru Nanak said A man who has conquered his mind is greater than a man who has conquered 1000 men.

It is about happiness. 

To me it is about joy Jesus brings in me.

Chess rating now

Chess king app are great. It gives a plot. But you must like your rating going down also apart from a rise. That is the way the app is.

In the morning today my rating was 2088. Now it has fallen. This despite the fact that I have understood 90 percent of the fundamentals of end games. 

I need to read the theories also.

Russians are very rigorous.  They demand a lot of work.

My current chess rating

My current chess rating is 2088. I am average to very good in end games and therefore my ratings are climbing. 

Grandmasters in chess have at least 2500 rating.

I shall strive to achieve this elo rating in the current course of end games of Chess King app.

I took to very slow running of about 2 km in the morning inside our colony.  I felt good.

I just finished 2 km of slow running.  I feel it is good enough. 

I need to run. Control eating. Stop tobacco chewing. To be healthy.  Otherwise sugar levels pretty high.

I feel the Jesus of golden ratio.  He likes me.

I am in Delhi currently for a week or so. Here's a poem from my heart.

The rules have to be followed all the time

It might be a jungle all around surrounding you

The journey with you all around is what I hath

You may be loving respectful of the Lord in all glory

The tiger throne

The Tiger Throne is the English language book and a shortened one of Tamil language book Ponniyin Selvan.  It is written by Preetha Rajah Kannan. The images formed by reading the English version are strong and local and good.

Most of the guys in north India have not seen Ponniyin Selvan I. This post is to motivate them to see the movie over OTT. Because Cholas were a big dynasty.  And all of us must see, understand and appreciate the goodness.

The story is of a few days or months. When the comet is there in sky. Indicating death in the family of Sundara Chola, the current emperor. 

Raja raja chola had qualities like Ashoka. Benevolent.  A great warrior.

The benevolence is essentially a Tamil characteristics and should be imbibed, I feel. Arulmozhi realizes he has an elder brother Karikalan.  And Madhuranthakan. He is not greedy for the empire. He is interested in expansion in islands. And he respects his father.

The stone wall writings must have been confusing to Kalki and he wrote the book knitting as best as possible in a fairy tale approach.  The movie was brilliant and knitted more efficiently. Mani Ratnam and the screenplay writers were very good. Everyone editors, camera, costume , art director,  music were great. 

Frankly I did not read the 4th and 5th part. I went past them. This is because the book is of 1950s and we are in 2022.  In olden days we did not have mobile and Facebook.  And what to say of chola period. Only rings, sword, warrior skills, bhakti were the identity of a person.  One should consider this fact while watching the movie. 

I am waiting for part two to be released in April 2023. And the remaining story will be the story Ponniyin Selvan II says.

Chess on app

I play chess on app. I feel humiliated on loosing to app.

The following are the steps I follow

I open with queen pawn two steps.  Then knight and bishop move to enable early castling. 

Mid games are a series of feasible steps to mate the opposition king. Move this pawn so that this bishop has a path towards opposition king type of moves. Almost all my moves are developing focus on opposition king direction. 

At the right time I want to make a sacrifice and gain an advantage. 

I don't like end games.

I have a feel for who is better at an instant.

I have a copyright and possibly patented expressions too. And methods.  Financially India has benefitted by my methods.

Taal in dafli - My claim is walking is taal. And as such it is a deep method. And these help more buying of dafli. Expected contribution. 1 crore rupees.

Lifting of okras with left hand - These are of gamma functions and as such are deep method.  And these help okra cultivation and consumption. Expected contribution.  50 lakh rupees.

Dumbbell experiment with left hand - A light weight is needed to do this max reps experiment.  The results have to be noted. And these require a fresh paper and light dumbell.  Expected contribution.  25 lakh rupees. 

Dumbbell experiment with right hand - 25 lakh rupees. 

Object thickness experiment  - A paper is needed. 1 lakh rupees. 

Expected benefit. 2 crore and 1 lakh.

Finances movement possible.

Moving ahead

I cleared the MT(T) test and cleared the interview and group discussion to get into Bhilai. My father was an influential person and he encouraged me to join. I was good in elementary electrical technology.  And I thought my happy days have arrived.  But not quite. 

Being a plant area I failed in medical standards.  Hearing loss. I asked my father what to do. He told me to come back.

I came back and was planning to rejoin Sylvania and Laxman limited. My earlier company. But fate was otherwise.  I was called for a re-medical examination.  This was probably tougher and more accurate one at Rourkela. Probably they discovered my eye fundus wound marks too. 

Finally I made it. To the Russian built empire of India.  Bhilai Steel Plant.  Works area. Rajhara mines.

Now I am in Research.  The way I see it.

Anyways. 

I do upto 2 frames in my cartoons. 

I plan to extend it to 25 or more and tell a story. A business.  A paid site.

The real final say on convergent value

I have a convergence test on infinite series.  That works for me.

Convergent value?

I did experiments with my body. 

I lifted a light dumbell of 10 kg and noted down the readings. 

I observed a distant object at 1, at half and at quarter a distance.  I measured the thickness of this object at the specified distance.  I noted the readings. 

These two gave me convergent value.  The first was 1. The second infinite arithmetic Geometric progression. 

So I deserve to get the following book. 

Wow !! A book after all. Though I need to pay money to get it; it is sort of authorized. I don't think this way.

3. Staedtler pack of 24 monochrome pencils are great quality pencil set. 

The above portrait of Mithun Chakraborty is a free hand portrait drawn from Crayola wax crayons set that was gifted to my kids by a person staying in USA. I took some of the skin tones matching colors from the set and brought them to Ranchi. They are still with me.

My plans ahead

 

I feel that the English mathematicians and intellectuals want me to further in cartoons. 

I wish to do that. In this regard I followed David Finch YouTube tutorials.  I want to join proko course in cartoons by David Finch.  But unable to for payment reasons. 

Anyways. 

I will practice strict perspective cartoons from now onwards.  The above is a simple cartoon drawn strictly on perspective.  The lines were actually drawn.

I shall practice above from now onwards.  Till it becomes a habit.

My pi formulas

 

The formula for my pentagon side of a unit circle  was root2 minus  3/4 of root3 minus root2.

During the construction I realized that the root3 based arc by the corresponding chord was important.  And so was root2 based arc by the corresponding chord.

And wonder of wonders, the above ratios fetch pi. And they are what in the above two expressions. 

My intuitions are strong. 

But my problem is it is difficult to prove the above formula.  However I can demonstrate the results to be true.

Madhava of Sangamagrama pi by 4 can be proved. Arctan of 1. The whole of yesterday was spent on trying to prove the result of mine.  But I couldn't. 

Can anyone help me?
