Some More Digital . . .

What you see in the above picture is what is new to my collection. Google Nexus 7 which I bought earlier. I mentioned about it in http://theotherday-kirtivasan.blogspot.in.

But the problem was connecting Google Nexus 7 to internet. It is here that my brainwave worked. I bought a wireless router which supports 3G dongle. The wireless router is the white object on the photo. Then came Reliance 3G dongle. The wireless router took it in and worked seamlessly with it.It lasted for 21 days.

Then the most awaited day came. The phablet from Nokia-Microsoft. I wanted a good mobile camera. I am totally fine with digital enhancements. So I got a Nokia 1520. That is what you see in the picture above. The yellow object. I did not know about nano SIM.

I cut the Reliance 3G SIM into nano SIM and put it in Nokia 1520. Alas !! The voice did not work. No SMSs. The internet however did work. I tried to make nano back to big SIM by adapter. But sorry!! The dongle said it was too much. It failed to work. That was the end of Reliance 3G dongle and SIM which I downsized without proper knowledge.

I have now put Airtel nano SIM in Nokia 1520. Only the voice works. Nokia 1520 is obviously the best in business. It deserves an Airtel with 3G. I have applied for 3G.

And by the way, I wanted to show the picture of how a blog looks like in My Feeds in Windows Phone and in News Bento Metro App running on Windows 8.1 in my laptop. And my latest snap . . .

Thanks for Smart TV suggestions. I didn't know that fully.
Google Nexus 7 is really pretty good for gaming. You feel full when you hold it in hands.
Nokia 1520 has a 20 MP Camera and being with you always you get the real India pictures.
Thanks, SM

Huawei dongle now working fine with Vodafone SIM.
I intend to finance the running cost of these devices by stopping bad habit expenses.

You all must be wondering that though Reliance sim got damaged the dongle was there. What have you done with that?
I must say you have a smart and business mindset. I have bought a sim card for the Reliance dongle that was alone. A Reliance sim card.

Still confused?
Old Reliance 2G sim dongle to wife for emergencies. Maintained by me.
Huawei for my Dell laptop. Financed by me.
Reliance dongle for router. Financed by me.
Lumia 1520 with airtel. Financed by me.
Lumia 720 with dolphin. Financed by company.

The Reliance dongle did not take in Reliance sim. The router failed to work.
I have put the Reliance sim to Samsung 10.1 tab. It is working. This typing is done with this connection.
Tenda router and Reliance dongle are idle. I have put them in old briefcase.
Wifi router is gone.
What about nexus connection then, you may ask.
Lumia 720 internet sharing should be enough.

The Reliance dongle did not take in Reliance Sim. Tenda router and dongle was kept in briefcase. Then? Was this the end?
No it was not to be. An Airway 21Mbps dongle was bought for the Reliance sim.

Kirtivasan Ganesan said...

The Samsung 10.1 tab did not require Reliance sim. Because it was always at home. There is wifi at home.
The Airway 21 Mbps dongle was for work purposes.

Kirtivasan Ganesan said...

Airway 21 Mbps cannot be used in Tenda router. The reason is I have forgotten the password of router. Resetting is not working in Tenda router.
Reliance dongle; why is it not working with sim is not clear. Maybe the Reliance dongle has not been registered with authorities.

See, when I downsized Reliance sim to nano it should not have been put into adapter for larger size. The dongle possibly got damaged due to this.
I went to the Reliance shop and he gave me another dongle in its place.
So in effect one Reliance sim and one Reliance dongle has been damaged due to my ignorance.
