Euler totient function is a big genius from Leonhard Euler. With Euler totient function expressions of golden ratio and euler mascheroni constant are also obtained. It is interesting to know that P Kesava Menon has an important expression with Euler totient function.
Leonhard Euler could come up with a great amount of points to ponder with Euler totient function. He probably could demonstrate pi, products of primes formulae and more with his totient function. Euler thought of the symbol pi for totient function. Gauss then changed it to phi. And it was Sylvester who coined the term totient function. Totient function study is important for me.
