For Putnam aspirants

Putnam is American mathematics olympiad sorts. It is conducted every year. MIT guys do well in these exams.  Indians staying in USA are okayish in these exams.

Limits

I wish I become a Putnam coach. There is a lot of money. However I have only intuitions.  No steps. With respect to the above four points on Putnam questions my intuitions are

Consecutive number theory

Star Delta convergence test

You teach me problem solving approach.  I give you intuitions.  How about that?

Anyways. 

Take my intuitions.  I don't have much in hand.

Bhalla Papdi

 

Bhalla papdi is popular in North India. It is thayir vada and flat pani puris in curd, saunth  and spices.

Then I thought of Gauss-Legendre collaboration in pi and other important functions. 

Then I thought of Rational Series and rejection of the ideas contained therein by JRMS and other journals of India.

Vada Pav

 

Vada Pav is a famous dish in western India. It is aloo bonda between pav. It is served with green chutney.

Then I thought of Euler-Maclaurin formula.

Then I thought of JRMS. There was foundation of binomial using rational number series in my paper submitted. I was told paper rejected due to quality.

My good wishes shall always be there.

Particularly, the above expression has been rejected by JRMS for lack of sufficient quality.

I later got the expression published in IJMT.

Mathematics Olympiad preparation

International Mathematical Olympiad is a matter of prestige. Many countries have coaches for preparation.  

Iranian students have caliber in IMO.  In India Parsis are at least 50 percent Iranians.

We are Tamil.

That is the background. 

Consecutive numbers are

1. Important in halves. 2. Important in binomial. 3. Important in triangular numbers. 4. Important in number properties like plus one, evens series are odds into 2. (42% value to Iranian students).

3 to 4 Consecutive numbers are

1. Capable of getting clues to solving geometry problems. (5% value to Iranian students).

I need 6 years contract. 2×6×12 lakhs of rupees.  I hope TATAs help me. I feel stuck because of finances.

More maths Olympiad issues

I downloaded IOQM 2020-21 question paper. I downloaded IOQM 2020-21 solutions too prepared by a reputed coaching institute in India.  

The questions are great, tricky, makes you think and interesting.  I can score 50 percent marks as of now. If I work I can get 80 percent marks. 20 percent Allah bharose.

I downloaded International Maths Olympiad 2021 question paper too. Are they tough? No, they are not tough.  They are impossible.  Then I thought how kids manage to solve them? I felt proud of these children.  India's Shrivastava too. He has won three International Mathematics  Olympiad gold medals. 

I am not planning to focus on Olympiad maths. Allah kasam satyam vadhaami. 

I shall try to focus on music, art and exercises.  Some home cooking too I want to focus. Then keeping household clean.

Cycles of time

PDCA is a great cycle invented by Edwards Deming. And the great thing is he knew it was quality management.  

If you observe a little closer you will notice that Plan and Do are opposing each other. Check and Act are opposing each other. And a cycle is intended. If one is deeply involved in PDCA, quality improves.

Strength(S) and Weakness(W) oppose each other. Opportunity(O) and Threat(T) oppose one another. I believe if one is deeply involved in SWOT,  military mindset improves.

I was wondering how to describe SAIL management.  And what will work best for an average SAIL employee. On cycles of time.

Parliamentarians(P) and Voters(V) oppose each other. Diplomats(D) and Failures(F) oppose each other. I think if PVDF is focused on and one manages to make it a cycle SAIL will improve. 

Parliamentarians and Voters oppose each other? Yes. Voters say I voted for you. Give me this. Give me that.

Diplomats think they know it all. Failures think they are correct.

Most PSUs like BHEL,  ONGC, NTPC must be having business services.
